Rust Cat Code — 6,666 cats drawn entirely by code. No images. No AI art. No scans. Every cat is computed stroke by stroke in Rust from a single number: its seed. The same seed always redraws the same cat, byte for byte, on any machine, forever — the whole collection is reproducible and verifiable, open source at github.com/boring877/naives-cats. Each cat tests how few wobbly, hand-drawn marks it takes for something to read as a cat: a circle, two ears, three whiskers… or a beanie, a patch over one eye, a lolling tongue and a yarn ball in the corner. Eleven trait axes — palette, head, ears, eyes, mouth, fur, hat, whiskers, body, tail and background — drive 6,666 one-of-one cats. A Rust-native homage to the Naives generative sketchbook.
