Doctors in Nigeria work 100+ hours a week and yet get paid <$200 a month. Becoming a surgeon is a series of photographs I’ve taken in the theatre. It is a documented journal about my personal journey. This collection is a reminder about how fragile humans are, and how incredibly resilient, selfless and passionate you have to be to work as a doctor in Nigeria. Follow me through the camera lenses of my mobile phone to have a sneakpeak of what surgeons do. I do not intend to aggravate or desensitize anyone by putting out this collection. I also do not mean to make any feel disturbed, and would advice you skip this collection if you are uncomfortable with blood or surgeries
